The State Administration of Radio Frequencies successfully ensured the smooth use of radio frequency and radio electronic facilities in Formula 1 races
The Azerbaijan Grand Prix, the most prestigious motor-racing event on the planet, the Formula 1 world championship is over.
In order to ensure the smooth operation of electronic facilities used during the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix races held in Baku on June 10-12, 2022 with the participation of 20 pilots from the 10 most prestigious Formula 1 teams, watched live from the track by more than 70 thousand local and foreign fans and broadcast live in more than 100 countries of the world, as well as to study the state of reception of mobile communication signals along the Baku City Circuit, the radio monitoring groups of the State Administration of Radio Frequencies, which is a subordinate entity of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport intensively carried out radio monitoring works in an enhanced mode of operation.
As a result of the preventive and urgent measures, the normal and smooth operation of the radio electronic facilities used in the frequencies allocated for the organization and lighting of the competitions was ensured.
It should be noted that the city of Baku has hosted the Formula 1 races for the 6th time organized since 1950.
