On May 4, the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev signed an order on the establishment of the State Commission for Radio Frequencies.

According to the official website of the President of Azerbaijan, in accordance with the document, in order to increase the effectiveness of the use of radio communications and high frequency devices in Azerbaijan and the coordination of the activities of state bodies (state structures), the Commission is to be formed as follows:

The Chairman of the State Commission:

Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of Azerbaijan

The Members of the State Commission are:

Deputy Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan

Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan

Deputy Chief of the State Security Service of Azerbaijan

Deputy Chief of the State Service of Special Communication and Information Security of Azerbaijan

According to the decision of the State Commission for Radio Frequencies, representatives of state bodies (structures) may be involved in its activities.

The Cabinet of Ministers has been instructed to prepare a draft Regulation on the State Commission for Radio Frequencies and present it to the President of Azerbaijan, as well as to resolve other issues arising from the current order.
