The next time, Azerbaijan, which hosted the prestigious competition, presented an interesting sports competition.

The State Administration of Radio Frequencies, a subordinate body of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies investigated the relevant frequency nominals required for the competitions, allocated 393 radio frequencies and ensured the use of those frequencies without extraneous interference during the competitions. Furthermore, in order to ensure the interference-free operation of radio electronic facilities to be used during the competitions, systematic radio monitoring was carried out in these areas, all radio electronic facilities were tested for compliance with the permitted terms and allowed to operate.

The State Administration of Radio Frequencies has applied an intensified work regime before and during the competitions, our professional frequency team of about 30 specialists has taken prompt and urgent measures to use interference-free radio frequencies allocated for different services along the Formula 1 Circuit  and in the surrounding areas in accordance with purposes of frequency assignments, as well as organized shifts by establishing mobile and portable groups.
