The State Commission for Radio Frequencies

The State Commission for Radio Frequencies (the State Commission) was established by the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated May 4, 2021.

 The Chairman of the State Commission:

 Minister of digital development and transport of the republic of Azerbaijan.

 Members of the State Commission are:

Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan;

Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan;

Deputy Chief of the State Security Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan;

Deputy Chief of the Special Communication and Information Security State Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

 Functions of the State Commission:

development of long-term state policy on allocation and use of radio frequency spectrum;

development of perspective plans for the use of radio-frequency spectrum to be utilized by radio electronic facilities and high-frequency equipment;

preparation and modification of charts on allocation of radio-frequency bands for radio service users;

allocation of radio-frequency bands for the use of radio electronic facilities and high frequency equipment;

adoption on rules on use of radio frequencies.

 Note: Decisions of the State Commission on the allocation and use of radio-frequency spectrum must be implemented by users of radio electronic facilities and high-frequency equipment, ministries, enterprises, administrations and organizations that design and manufacture them, as well as by legal entities and individuals.
