RCS no.5

The Station for on-air radio control no. 5 and the Control Center are located in the settlement of Mehtiabad.

The Station for on-air radio control no. 5 began operating in 2013 with a staff consisting of 15 engineers and electricians. The radio control station is equipped with AOR5000A radio receivers and spectrum analyzers of Japanese-made SDU 5600, as well as antenna-feeder devices operating in the frequency range 25 kHz-3 GHz.

The monthly work plans of  radio control stations 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 for radio frequency ranges assigned by the State Management of Radio Frequencies to administrations, organizations and enterprises, as well as working schedules for engineers and electricians are drawn up here.

Data on broadcast violations received from the regional stations of the on-air radio control department are sent to the radio frequency department after analysis and the appropriate results are delivered to the stations. The weekly Service Information of the stations located in the regions is analyzed by engineers. The illegal action of networks and the determination of factors causing interference on the air are under the constant control of engineers.

The location of illegal radio transmitters on the map is determined by using US-made stationary equipment TCİ and the State Management of Radio Frequencies is notified about this. Frequency assignments are monitored in Baku and regional stations via the İNFOSPACE software. Through the RF sensor equipment, as well as the AMS Client software, through an automated network, radiation sources are detected on the air. Through the Strim Lap program, TV and radio channels broadcast from the TV tower are controlled. The AMS Client software, which is equipped with RF sensor equipment and Agilent Technologies equipment in automatic mode on the 10 Hz-44 GHz band, determines the parameters of signals in analog and digital mode, obtained using a logarithmic antenna. Through the Strim Lap program, Sahil No. 3, Guneshli No. 4 and Mehtiabad are controlled by TV and radio channels broadcast from the TV Tower.

By means of the RF sensor equipment and AMS Client software, the detection of on-air radiation sources is ensured through an automated network. TV and radio channels broadcasted from the TV tower are controlled through the Strim Lap software.

The AMS Client software equipped with RF sensor equipment and device of Agilent Technologies determines the parameters of signals received by a logarithmic antenna on the 10 Hz-44 GHz band in automatic mode and broadcasted in analog and digital modes.

By means of the Strim Lap software, the TV and radio channels being broadcasted from the TV Tower are controlled by the stations Sahil No. 3, Guneshli No. 4 and Mehtiabad’s Station.
