The Commemoration Day was celebrated at the State Administration of Radio Frequencies

According to the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated December 2, 2020, September 27 is celebrated as the Commemoration Day in the Republic of Azerbaijan.

 

In conjunction with the Commemoration Day, an event was also held at the State Administration of Radio Frequencies on September 27, 2021 in compliance with the rules of the special quarantine regime.

 

At the beginning of the event, the memory of all our martyrs who fought heroically in the Great Patriotic War, waved the Azerbaijani flag in our liberated lands and sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of our country was commemorated with a minute of silence.

 

The speeches made were about the Patriotic War, which began with a counterattack on September 27 in response to enemy provocations on the basis of the instruction of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Ilham Aliyev, became a heroic chronicle in history and resulted in the restoration of territorial integrity. During the speeches, a deep gratitude was expressed to President Ilham Aliyev and the victorious Azerbaijani army for carrying this joyful message to the people and ending the 30-year longing for native lands with victory.

 

It was emphasized that the unanimity shown by our society during the 44-day war was a clear expression of the close unity of our people around the head of state, as well as the self-affirmation of the new and powerful Azerbaijan in the world.

 

During the event, it was mentioned about the victory march of the victorious army of Azerbaijan, eternal memory of our martyrs, the liberation of Shusha, a symbol of dignity and pride of our people, the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, which had long been unsolved issue and a source of danger for the region, as well as about the consequences of the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict that will contribute to peace and security in the region.

 

At the end, a video clip dedicated to the memory of the martyrs was presented.
