The State Administration of Radio Frequencies is preparing for the European Football Championship (EURO 2020) at a high level
Our country is on the threshold of hosting another international competition.
Relevant government entities have begun preparations for EURO 2020 to be held in June 2021. According to the relevant order of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies, the State Administration of Radio Frequencies has also started preparations for the championship.
An agreement on the use of radio frequencies has already been signed with the UEFA and the required frequency nominals have been specified. Radio monitoring activities are being carried out in and around the Olympic Stadium in order to ensure the interference-free operation of the radio electronic equipment to be used during the final match. At the same time, daily monitoring activities are carried out to ensure the interference-free use of the allocated frequencies during the competitions and appropriate measures are taken in accordance with the results. All radio electronic devices to be used during the competition will be tested for compliance with the permitted conditions and only in this case these devices will be allowed to operate.
During the event, control will be strengthened to ensure the smooth broadcasting of television and FM radio programs and monitoring works will be implemented by stations.
It should be noted that the protection of the frequency spectrum from extraneous interferences is an essential part of organization of such large-scale events.
